New Premises for Hayes McKenzie Salisbury Office
Hayes McKenzie's Salisbury office are pleased to announce their move into brand new bespoke
premises about half-way into Salisbury from their previous location in the old Dean Hill ordnance
storage facility. Andy McKenzie, director and manager of the Salisbury office says: 'We'll be sad to leave
Dean Hill Park where we've been very happy since 2006, but this will give us more space, a better working
environment and our clients will be able to find us!
It is easily found about 5 miles east of Salisbury
just off on the A36 (next to the Three Crowns Inn!).
Mike Craven Re-Joins Hayes McKenzie
Hayes McKenzie are pleased to welcome back Mike Craven, who worked for us for three years from 2005
to 2007 at our Machynlleth office. He has re-joined Hayes McKenzie after a period of travelling and 3 years
with URS in London and will be working from our new Salisbury office (mike@hayesmckenzie.co.uk).
Hayes McKenzie SoDAR
Hayes McKenzie have been offering SoDAR remote-sensing wind speed measurements since late 2010.
This has proved to be a highly successful venture which enables us to carry out simultaneous wind speed
measurements at turbine hub heights up to 100m or more, to accompany noise measurements on wind
farm sites. It removes the need for a costly met mast installation and provides much more meaningful
measurements than those carried out at 10 metres height (which we can also do where necessary).
Use of the SoDAR has resulted in significant cost savings and convenience for our clients and is virtually
permanently booked out.
